This place rocks. Every time I come to Lodi I make it a point to grab lunch here. If it's not a family run deal it sure seems that way because the staff are all fantastic. They definitely understand barbecue, the flavors are off the chart. The inside is a typical sit down joint that is always clean. If you love barbecue get in here.

Service was great. Tried the chicken sando. Was excellent! Will be back again. How many words do I need before I can post

Great service and great food. I'm not a huge fan of their bbq sauce but their meats are fantastic. They are priced a little high IMO for the category but if you want good bbq it's the go to place in Lodi. They also have good outdoor seating for when it is nice out.

When I need a break from carbs and beef I'll get a chef or spinach salad here. The meat on the chef salad is real stuff off their BBQ. The spinach salad features the perfect French-like dressing and croutons with the perfect light crunch and pine nuts.

If you're a fan of tender, flavorful brisket, Tin Roof BBQ is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you take your first bite, it's clear that the brisket is the star of the show. The meat is expertly smoked, with a rich, smoky flavor that permeates every bite. The seasoning is perfectly balanced--not too salty, just enough to enhance the natural beefiness of the brisket. The tenderness is truly exceptional; it practically melts in your mouth, a testament to hours of careful smoking and attention to detail. The bark on the outside is beautifully caramelized, adding just the right amount of texture to each slice. Whether you prefer it fatty or lean, Tin Roof BBQ nails it on both fronts, ensuring each cut is juicy and full of flavor. For anyone in search of a top-tier brisket experience, Tin Roof BBQ delivers in spades. It's the kind of brisket that keeps you coming back for more.

Very good! They do not cheat you on the meat! Very tasty, just enough smoke on the meat too. Good selection of sides.

I am glad I found this place. I have roots with BBQ that stem from Oklahoma and Texas. I've had some life changing experiences when it comes to BBQ. The service was absolutely fantastic. My drink never went below halfway. The atmosphere was filled with folks smiling and plenty of full bellies. I ended up going with a 3 meat special and chose the following: tri tip/brisket/pulled pork! Trip tip was new to me here being in NorCal only for last three years! I absolutely loved the Tri tip. That was the star of the show!!! The sweet potato fries were fried to a perfection! The corn bread muffin was cooked to a perfect crisp for the muffin top! Who doesn't love muffin tops???? The smoke flavor in the meat was a bit light for my liking however all of it was super tender!

4.5 solid stars! Great casual spot for bbq and sandwiches, good sides such as crisp cole slaw ($5) and crispy GARLICKY garlic fries ($6) . Incredibly nice servers, it's not a surprise that this place seems to be popular with the locals and workers for lunch. Brisket Sandwich (bbq sauce style--$17) was delicious and tender with generous portion of meat. Crispy but light toasted bread keeping the meat the star of the show and not too heavy for a lunchtime meal. Tried the jalapeno mac and cheese ($6) too, was flavorful and had a creeping spicy kick. Nice roux, wish is had a slightly thicker cheesy sauce since it was a bit runny though flavorful A bit pricey for a lunch for everyday esp with a side added, but worth the treat every now and then! Would come back:)

This place has really good service. All of the ladies are very attentive. I had the ribs which were very tender with their delicious crispy garlic fries & coleslaw. The tri tip was a little dry but it was good, my mom's brisket was better for sure. The potato salad was okay, the fried okra was so light, crispy and tasty. I was surprised how the okra and fries were so light and weren't drenched in oil. We will be back for sure.
